James Norwood Bryan had the same aspirations as his father and grandfather and graduated from Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. Norwood practiced his first two years with Dr. Barry Nichols of Anniston, during which time he met Kathy Carver. They married in August 1987 and moved to Decatur. After practicing for three years with his father, Norwood bought the practice in 1990.
