Pet Laser Treatment

Pet Laser Treatment

Is Pet Laser Treatment an Option for Your Dog or Cat?

Education and prevention are two important factors that you will find at our Bryan Animal Clinic facility in Decatur. We also strive to keep our environment low-stress for our furry friends. Dr. James Norwood Bryan, Dr. Jeff English, and Dr. Harry Greenbaum serve as our veterinarians and have a long-established record in caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and reptiles. Care and understanding of how pets are part of your family have led our veterinarians to include an innovative treatment plan for pain management caused by chronic arthritis or surgery.

Veterinary Laser Therapy

Laser therapy aids in reducing inflammation and speeds up healing from wounds while relaxing the muscles. Having an uncomfortable pet that is aging or has a chronic condition can be as bad as watching a child suffer.

This therapeutic form of treatment is non-invasive by sending wavelengths to the affected area, much like a scanner in a grocery store. Pets are not startled or harmed in any way. Some may actually look forward to a trip to our office to receive the laser treatment. With our hospitable waiting room, friendly staff and a feeling of being around family, your pet will think that making a trip to our clinic is a treat.

What Pets Qualify for Laser Therapy?

There are different types of light amplification of stimulated emission of radiation that can be used by a veterinarian. Only one of our skilled physicians can recommend which class is best for your pet. Different classes can limit wavelengths to skin abrasions and others that will go deeper into the muscles and tissues.
